Course Description

This course focuses on the present and future needs of a rapidly changing industry. You’ll acquire a strong grounding in design, video and audio skills alongside modeling, rigging, texturing, lighting, digital cinematography and 3D digital graphics. Throughout the course modules you’ll also cover motion graphics and virtual studio skills alongside compositing, 3D tracking, particles and dynamics. Graduating with a broad range of creative and technical skills, this course is ideal for students wanting to explore a career the animation and visual effects industry.

You’ll become a proficient character and creature animator and learn a broad range of complimentary digital skills. The course will also cover film theory, history of animation and industry economics.

Having developed your animation skills with software tools such as the Autodesk Entertainment Suite, Nuke, PF Track, Adobe Creative Suite and other tools such as Cinema4D, your show reels will have the high standard finish that is required by this sector and help graduates to pursue careers in gaming, film and broadcast. You’ll build a portfolio of work, which will be edited into a demo reel to show employers once you have graduated.
